A few months ago I thought I would enter some photos in to the Fujifilm Professional 2007 Awards for the first time. I was pretty stoked this morning to see that a few of my images had won awards in several different categories.

These 2 from Nicole and David's wedding at Villa Arcadia in Joburg received awards in the wedding category:

My Kenyan 'red chair' that I love so much received an award in the Fine Art category:

This image taken during a recent portrait shoot also received an award in (funnily enough) the Portrait section:

I must say that there were other images that I entered that I personally preferred, but i guess that's where the whole issue of subjectivity comes into play.

So now I guess I can throw in the phrase 'award-winning photographer' as everyone seems to do. Next year I'm going for gold!
