After a week's worth of solid rain in Cape Town, I was wondering why I had agreed to a family shoot on the beach in mid-winter, but the Saturday morning mist cleared to reveal stunning clear skies - it was a beautiful day! I met Tim and Bianca and their gorgeous son, Peter, on the beach and we had a portrait session while some brave swimmers were getting ready to swim to Clifton. (Apparently the water is warmer in winter but man that water is cold!) It's always fantastic to spend time with a family who so blatantly adore each other... it sounds cheesy, but what a privilege to be present among such amazing love!
